Ok, what a couple of days we had here in the Dulworth classroom. I didn't post yesterday due to a meeting, but I will fill you in today!
Yesterday, we covered putting numbers on a number line. Ask your child about Soul Train! In science, we started talking about matter and what properties make it matter. We did a short lab as a group that will lead up to a larger lab on Tuesday. In social studies, we talked about the map and its important features. We also discussed the continents and oceans.
Today, we explored rounding in our class with an activity called search and rescue. In science, we created animotos showing the states of matter. We were also visited by the School Board in section 46 math. Finally, we were grateful to have our mystery reader Mrs. Lindsay today! She read two great books that were very entertaining!
No more for this week, have a great three day weekend!
