Today was an extremely productive day in our classroom! In math, we explored how to write numbers in expanded form. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the students grasped the concept. We played beat the teacher to reinforce the concept, as well as, use it to review place value and written form. In science, we finished discussing lab safety and decided how we would show our lab safety rules as pictures. Finally, in social studies, we started making a Texas poster to wrap up our symbols unit.
On a final note, today we shared our glogsters! All I can say is wow! It never ceases to amaze me how students can take a simple assignment and make it something amazing. Bravo guys!
